The process

A major parquet flooring wholesaler was ready for the next step: gaining independence from suppliers while adding extra value and flexibility to their services. To guarantee maximum flexibility and product quality, we developed a two-step approach:

A pre-finishing line, enabling the transformation of basic floorboards into aged, authentic, artisan flooring.
A finishing line, designed for applying the final treatments such as oils, lacquers, and other coatings.

Throughout the process, we shipped multiple samples to the customer to discuss different finishing options. Based on their feedback, we configured the production lines to efficiently handle both large production runs and small, customized batches.

First, the finishing line was built, fully tailored to the required specifications and designed for future expansion. This allowed the wholesaler to efficiently process both large-scale production runs and smaller, customized orders.
Next, the pre-finishing line was introduced, enabling the transformation of basic floorboards into aged, artisan parquet flooring. This added a valuable new product category to their portfolio.
