How we tested the TTEPS-HPS Edge Spraying Machine at AkzoNobel in the U.S.
To explore the full potential of our TTEPS-HPS edge spraying machine, Trivec visited AkzoNobel Highpoint (USA). There, we conducted extensive tests on their newly installed machine. Through this collaboration, we aimed to demonstrate how precise and versatile the system is, both for AkzoNobel customers and for Trivec’s international projects.
Practical applications of edge spraying
Together, we tested a variety of UV lacquers in multiple colors on different wood types, profiles, and dimensions.
The applications ranged from sealing MDF edges and spraying narrow grooves to finishing shadow gaps and channelsiding profiles.
The outcome was remarkable: the TTEPS-HPS edge-spraying system provides clean, overspray-free layers, even on complex forms. This renders it a prime choice for makers who need high accuracy, uniform performance, and less rework in their wood-finishing workflows. The outcome is evenly covered edges and grooves, lower waste, and a more efficient line.
